WHO WE ARE

Commander

Chuck Barone

AS MEMBERS OF THE VETERANS OF FOREIGN WARS, WE HAVE BEEN UNRELENTING IN OUR EFFORTS TO SECURE SUFFICIENT TREATMENT FOR POST-TRAUNATIC STRESS DISORDER AND TRAUMATIC BRAIN INJURIES. WE HAVE CHAMPIONED FOR CARE FOR OUR MILITARY FAMILIES, BATTLED FOR INCREASED FUNDING FOR CHILDCARE, SPOUSAL SUPPORT, CAREER DEVELOPMENT AND EDUCATION.  FOR MORE THAN A DECADE, WE FOUGHT FOR, AND FINALLY SECURED THE POST-9/11 BILL.

WHEN ANY DEFENDER OF THIS NATION RETURNS HOME, WE MUST BE COMMITTED TO ENSURING THEY ARE ABLE TO OBTAIN TIMELY, ADEQUATE HEALTHCARE --- ALL THAT THEY SO JUSTLY DESERVE FROM THE GOVERNMENT.  WE ARE HERE TO HELP WITH THEIR TRANSITION FROM MILITARY LIFE TO CIVILIAN LIFE AND TO LEND AN EAR TO THOSE WHO MAY HAVE A DIFFICULT TIME MAKING THAT ADJUSTMENT.

THEY HAVE EARNED THE RIGHT TO BE TREATED WITH DIGNITY AND RESPECT. YOU CAN HELP MAKE THAT HAPPEN JUST BY SAYING THANK YOU AND WELCOME HOME.

WE ARE COMMITTED TO ASSISTING OUR BROTHER VETERANS AND THE COMMUNITY IN WHICH WE LIVE, AND HAVE SERVED FOR THE PAST 83 YEARS SINCE POST 1923 HAS BEEN ESTABLISHED AND RESIDED IN ITS CURRENT LOCATION AT 309 PARK AVE.
